Clinching is a cold forming process perfect for joining various metals. The process can quickly and easily join pre-painted, galvanized, or dissimilar metals without emitting harmful heat, sparks, or fumes. Heron provides clinch systems for sheet metal, power clamps, and pin locators for the fixture. For applications in home appliances and hardware Tog-L-Loc are Lance-N-Loc are commonly applied, whereas V-Loc is suited to high-strength requirements of automotive industry. Heron has been a professional distributor of BTM tooling for over two decades.
The clinching system applies tooling to draw and form metal into interlocks, thus joining. 4 types of tooling are offered: Tog-L-Loc, Lance-Loc, Oval-Loc and V-Lock.
