Clinching

Clinching is a cold forming process perfect for joining various metals. The process can quickly and easily join pre-painted, galvanized, or dissimilar metals without emitting harmful heat, sparks, or fumes. Heron provides clinch systems for sheet metal, power clamps, and pin locators for the fixture. For applications in home appliances and hardware Tog-L-Loc are Lance-N-Loc are commonly applied, whereas V-Loc is suited to high-strength requirements of automotive industry. Heron has been a professional distributor of BTM tooling for over two decades.
Servo Motor-driven Clinching System
This equipment is applicable to sheet metal with pre-painted surfaces, galvanized surfaces and other finishes. It can also be used to join certain non-metals, like filter cloth, to parts made of sheet metal.
BTM Clinching Hand-Held-Units
Clinching joins sheet metal by drawing and forming the part materials into an interlock. Leveraging the part materials streamlines the production process and reduces costs while eliminating welding and fasteners. Therefore this method is eco-friendly, as it does not result in harmful sparks, fumes, or excessive heat.
15T BTM Clinch Machine
As the optimal choice for creating strong metal joints, Tog-L-Loc can preserve the integrity of the metal and be incorporated into a wide range of installation systems.
8T BTM Clinch Machine
This equipment can clinch two or more layers with combined thickness from 0.2 mm to 7.0 mm. Clinching is effective for a wide array of metal alloys and combinations and is applicable to sheet metal with pre-painted surfaces, galvanized surfaces and other finishes. Moreover, it can also be used to join certain non-metals, like filter cloth, to parts made of sheet metal.
