40KJ Capacitor Discharge Welder 4

This welding method allows for a rapid rise in current and extremely short welding times within 30ms, while eliminating the need for water cooling of the welding transformer. Moreover, this technology is more compact than both low and high voltage options, and represents a safer alternative to high voltage capacitor discharge welding. In comparison to AC or MFDC resistance welding, the welding current curve of CDW proves optimal for projection welding, particularly in the case of fastener welding to hot stamping steel.
