The Critical Requirements for Welding Accuracy and Quality:

(1) Root cause: Automotive body welding demands exceptionally high precision and consistency, which directly impacts vehicle safety and longevity. Traditional manual or pneumatic welding tools rely on operator skill, and parameters (current, pressure, time) are susceptible to human variability, leading to inconsistent weld strength and increased spatter.
(2) Principle of welding gun: The standard resistance spot welding technique utilizes electrode pressure combined with a high current for a brief duration to heat and melt the metal contact surface, forming a weld nugget. The welding process consists of the following steps: pre-pressing (clamping the workpiece), applying the welding current, maintaining pressure during cooling, and releasing the electrode.
(3) The principle of the robotic welding gun: Pressure is precisely controlled by the servo motor, and a more stable current output is achieved using a medium-frequency inverter welding power supply (such as high-frequency current above 1kHz).
